(This story, while also being sweet and precious, teaches so many lessons about a lot of religions, actually. So much wisdom preached through Kurt and Blaine. If you’re not very open to/are sensitive about any religions or lack thereof, you might not want to read.)
I do, I think - Myheartwonxxo (Multichapter)
~“I do,” Kurt vowed without thinking, and before the thought even reached his mind, he added, “I think.” Immediately realizing what he’d just said, Kurt whipped his head up, but not to look at his shocked fiance - to look at his best friend Blaine. AU.
(Such a sweet story. A fair amount of angst, I guess, but even I could handle it, and I have a fear of too much angst, alright. The tension between the characters is great to read, because I just read the story continuously, just waiting for this tension to snap. Beautiful stuff right here.)
Together, We Are The Oceans - Aelora (Multichapter)
~When the Warblers get the opportunity to perform on a cruise ship over the holidays, Kurt can barely believe his luck at spending the time with Blaine. What he doesn’t count on is the friendships he makes, and the love he feels for his friend returned.
(This was the first multichapter fic I read, and I fell in love. It’s so hilarious and fluffy and even a little angsty, but all in all, it’s just a nice, easy, wonderful read.)
You’d Tear This Canvas Skin Apart - SirenVoice11 (Multichapter)
~Blaine is at last embracing his second love - art. What he doesn’t expect is for the living statue of David to walk into his art class in nothing but a silk robe.
(This is definitely one of the most elegantly written fics I have ever laid my eyes on. So gorgeous. It gets pretty angsty, but all in all, it’s about the art and the love between Kurt and Blaine and it’s just a definite favourite.)
Kiss - Foraworldundeserving (One-shots)
~While the kiss in Original Song was oh-so-beautiful, there’s millions of ways those two boys could have shared their first kiss.
(There’s so many chapters. But they’re all just one shots, so it’s the kind of story you can go and read when you want a little dosage of fluff. It’s really just hundreds of different ways Kurt and Blaine could have kissed. I love so many of them.)
Nobody’s Home - Nukagirl (Multichapter)
~ Blaine just wanted to go home, play his guitar and then go to bed. However, his father had completely different ideas, as he shoved the picture of Kurt and him kissing in Blaine’s face. He finds himself homeless, broken and alone.
(This story is actually pretty angsty - generally not the story I would go for - but it’s really touching, and maybe I just enjoy vulnerable!Blaine. It’s the kind of story where you end up yelling at the screen, ‘BLAINE! JUST LET KURT HELP YOU!’ And he eventually does and you just sigh about their love.)
10 Days - Carolinefics (Multichapter)
~There’s ten days left of summer vacation and Kurt Hummel wants to lose his virginity
(Smut, smut, smut, more smut. So much glorious, wonderfully written smut. I constantly re-read this fic.)
You’ve Got Cute Ears - Mawiiish (Multichapter)

(This story, man. I fell in love first chapter. Just, the idea of Kurt opening up to only Blaine, and Blaine’s sole devotion to protect Kurt is a wonderful thing to read. And you’re just itching for Kurt to say something.)

~ Kurt decides he wants to be a little more informed on all this sex stuff. Blaine, as a nice, thoughtful friend, offers to teach him. Hands on.
(I might as well just rec all of Jamie’s fics. This story was really, truly beautiful. The smut was remarkable, of course. But also feelings and just - yeaaah.)
Because Everyone Loves a Bit of Skirt - Camunki (One-shot)
~Blaine and Kurt are home alone. Kurt is wearing his skirt. Blaine sees this as an opportunity. It’s all going fabulously, that is, until the rest of the Hudmels arrive.

~ Kurt Hummel is McKinley High’s resident bad-ass but the arrival of a new transfer student from Dalton Academy quickly has his life spiraling out of control.
(Sweet baby jesus, send me to heaven. This story. The best badboy!Kurt story you could ever try to read. There’s a fair bit of angst, but everybody knows to expect that with our badboy fics. This fic is hilarious, heartwarming [and wrenching, gah] and overall a really kind of beautiful story).
